Can I return my product?

You can only return your product if the following is true:
The product was purchased within the last 30 days, is in its original packaging, and remains in a condition that can be sold. Product must be new, unworn, and unaltered. (Products showing signs of obvious wear, missing parts of a set, or not in its original packaging, will be immediately rejected.) OR Upon inspection, the product is determined defective by Clip In within 30 days of purchase.
If either of the above conditions are met, the product can be returned using these steps:

How to return a product:

1. Initiate a return request through our Return Portal at with your order number and email address. Select the item you would like to return and choose one of the following:
a. Receive a refund to your original payment method (expect a minimum of $7.00 up to an adjusted 15% restocking fee of your total)
b. Receive in-store credit
c. Exchange for a different item
2. You will receive an email confirming that your return request has been received.
3. We will either approve or reject the return request within 1-2 days of receiving it. You will receive an email detailing our decision.
4. Once accepted, you have the option to return the package using either:
a. A printable, prepaid return label with a flat fee of $7.95 (the fee will be deducted from your return credit).
b. A carrier of your choice. Please package with care and include a copy of your invoice for proof of purchase.
c. Send to the following address:

5. Once we receive your returned items, we will process the return/exchange within 2-3 business days.
Important Notes:
    • - Unless Clip In made a shipping error, shipping is non-refundable.

    • - Clip In does not cover the cost of return labels, except when we are entirely responsible for any errors with your order, including defective or wrong item(s) shipped.

    • - Refunds from returns can only be issued to your original payment method, and are subject to a 15% restocking fee, as well as the return shipping cost. Refunds cannot be returned to alternate cards or to a different form of payment.

    • - To avoid the 15% restocking fee, you may choose to receive store credit as Clip In Hair Cash. Hair Cash is valid for up to a year following the date of issue.

    • - Expedited returns are only allowed if you repurchase the products to be shipped to you; once the returned items are received, Clip In will inspect and confirm that the returned items are in proper condition and will then credit the appropriate amount to your account.

Here at Clip In, we understand that you love your hair and don't want to be without it. The return and exchanges process may take up to 2 weeks.

In order to get you the hair you need right away we allow you to repurchase the correct products so that they can ship immediately to you. It will still be your responsibility to get an RMA number and ship the product you'd like to exchange back to us. Once we receive the product back to our warehouse we will credit your account in full or if you require a refund, it will be processed at that time.
